Coople Trust badges, Recovery Mode and suspensions

Learn how Coople Trust badges, Recovery Mode and suspensions work, and how you can regain your badge or access to shifts.

Written by Jenny Petrini

Coople Trust recognises reliable work with badges and gives you a clear path forward if late cancellations or no-shows affect your standing. This guide explains the different badges and access states you may see after launch.

Before launch, remember: complete the shifts you are scheduled for, cancel in the app as early as possible if you cannot attend, and appeal genuine emergencies quickly. From 28 September 2026, the app will show your reliability, badge, recent activity, and next steps.

What do you gain from a strong standing?

Reliable work helps you:

  • Earn visible recognition through a Coople Trust badge

  • Help clients choose you with confidence when Coople Trust information becomes visible to clients

  • Keep full access to available shifts

  • Receive a 48-hour appeal protection window once you have a badge

Your badge recognises the reliability you have built. Recovery Mode and suspension are separate access states, not lower badge levels.

Recognition badges and access states are different

Coople Trust has recognition badges and access states. Recovery Mode and Suspended are not lower badges.

Standing

What it means

Top Coopler

100 completed shifts and at least 97% reliability

Pro Coopler

30 completed shifts and at least 95% reliability

Committed Coopler

3 clean post-launch shifts and at least 95% reliability

Coopler without a badge

You may be new, still building your history, or rebuilding your standing. Having no badge does not automatically mean you are unreliable.

Recovery Mode

Your access to shifts is temporarily reduced while you rebuild after a severe reliability event.

Suspended

You cannot access Coopler shifts for the period shown in the app, or until a permanent suspension is reviewed and removed.

Completed shifts from before launch count toward the 30-shift and 100-shift requirements for Pro Coopler and Top Coopler. Committed Coopler specifically requires 3 clean shifts after launch.

Your Coople Trust reliability record starts fresh at launch: previous strikes, cancellations, and no-shows will not carry over, but your completed shift history can still count toward Pro Coopler and Top Coopler eligibility.

What is Recovery Mode?

Recovery Mode is a temporary access state that gives you a route back after a late cancellation or a no show. It is not a badge and it is not a suspension.

While in Recovery Mode, you can still access:

  • Shifts from companies you already know or whose pools you are in

  • Direct offers

  • Urgent shifts starting within 48 hours

Recovery Mode ends after 3 completed shifts without cancellations or no-shows, or after 7 calendar days - whichever comes first. You must complete all shifts you are scheduled for during this period. Any cancellation during Recovery Mode - including an early cancellation - leads to a one-month suspension. A no-show can also lead to suspension.

What can change your standing?

  • Completed shifts support your reliability and badge progress.

  • Early cancellations lower reliability slightly. Several can eventually cause badge loss. Outside Recovery Mode, an early cancellation on its own does not cause access limitation. If you are already in Recovery Mode, any cancellation leads to a one-month suspension.

  • Late cancellations within 24 hours cause badge loss, Recovery Mode, or escalation depending on your current standing and recent history.

  • No-shows have the strongest effect and can lead to Recovery Mode or suspension.

  • Reported lateness can also affect reliability after Coople reviews the situation, especially if it happens repeatedly.

Before confirming a cancellation, the app will show the expected effect on your reliability, badge, shift access, and any suspension risk, so you can see what will change before you decide. If your status changes, the app will also show why you received that status and what you can do next.

If you cannot attend, cancel in the Coople Jobs app as soon as possible. An early cancellation has a smaller effect than a late cancellation, and a late cancellation is still better than a no-show.

When can suspension happen?

Suspension is used after repeated severe events, such as late cancellations or no-shows, or when Coople needs to act in a serious exceptional case.

  • Reliability policy-driven temporary suspensions can last 1 month or 6 months, depending on the escalation history. The app shows when access is expected to return.

  • Coople can also apply a manual temporary or permanent suspension in serious cases.

  • If you were already suspended before 28 September 2026, that suspension remains in place after launch.

A suspension of your Coopler profile does not automatically remove access to shifts connected to a separate internal-worker relationship.

Can I regain a badge or access to shifts?

Yes. Your app will show the next step available to you.

  • Recovery Mode ends through completed shifts or time, as described above.

  • A recognition badge can be earned again after you rebuild your reliability, meet its normal shift requirements, and complete any clean-history period that applies.

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows make the recovery path longer, so completing every scheduled shift is the fastest way to rebuild.

What if the event was incorrect or caused by an emergency?

You can appeal a specific cancellation or no-show in the app. Submit the appeal as soon as possible—ideally within 48 hours—and attach supporting evidence where possible.

If the appeal is approved, the event’s effect on your reliability, badge, and escalation state is removed.

If you were suspended before 28 September 2026, use the old appeal-form link shown on the same screen in the Coople Jobs app.

Where will I see my standing?

From 28 September 2026, the Coople Jobs app will show your reliability, badge, recent events, access state, appeals, and next available step.
