Understanding Coople Trust when choosing Cooplers

Coople Trust gives you an additional signal when choosing whom to schedule. It makes a Coopler’s reliability track record easier to understand.

What is Coople Trust?

Coople Trust is Coople’s recognition and reliability system for Cooplers. It helps reliable work stand out through:

  • Recognition badges earned through completed-shift experience and recent reliability

  • Reliability information based on recent completed shifts, cancellations, and no-shows

  • Clearer context when reviewing a Coopler’s profile

Use Coople Trust alongside the information you already consider, including experience, skills, qualifications, ratings, and your company’s previous experience with the Coopler.

What do the badges mean?

Badge

What it represents

Requirements

Committed Coopler

A strong start and clean early record

3 clean post-launch shifts and at least 95% reliability

Pro Coopler

A longer history of reliable work

30 completed shifts and at least 95% reliability

Top Coopler

An established and consistently strong reliability record

100 completed shifts and at least 97% reliability

Completed shifts from before the Coople Trust worker launch count toward the 30-shift and 100-shift totals for Pro Coopler and Top Coopler. Only the Committed Coopler badge specifically requires clean post-launch shifts.

Badges are earned under the same rules for every Coopler; Coople doesn’t assign them manually. Badges can change as the Coopler’s recent reliability changes.

How is reliability calculated?

Reliability reflects the Coopler’s 30 most recent events. These can include completed shifts, cancellations, and no-shows.

  • A completed shift receives full credit.

  • An early cancellation has a small negative effect.

  • A late cancellation has a stronger negative effect.

  • A no-show has the strongest negative effect.

Older events drop out as newer events are added. This means reliability reflects recent behaviour rather than the Coopler’s entire history forever.

Does a badge guarantee attendance or performance?

No. A badge reflects past reliability; it does not guarantee attendance or performance on a future shift.

Coople Trust is an additional sourcing signal. It does not replace your assessment of the Coopler’s suitability for the role.

What does it mean if a Coopler has no badge?

It does not automatically mean that the Coopler is unreliable. They may be:

  • New to Coople

  • Still building enough shift history

  • Rebuilding their standing after a recent event

  • Waiting for an appeal decision

Review the complete profile before making a decision.

Where will I see Coople Trust information?

Coople Trust information appears on eligible Coopler profiles. The exact badge, reliability information, and explanation available may depend on the screen you are using.

Internal shifts don’t count toward badges or reliability, and no reliability data is shown for them.

What keeps the information accurate?

Report shift outcomes accurately

Use the outcome and reason that best describe what happened.

  • Report a no-show only when the Coopler did not attend and did not cancel the shift.

  • If the Coopler contacted you to say that sickness, an accident, or another issue prevented attendance, report that information accurately or contact Coople if the available options do not fit.

  • If your company needs to cancel, use the company-side cancellation process rather than asking the Coopler to cancel where possible.

Accurate reporting helps reliable work receive the right recognition and prevents avoidable corrections.

Can a Coopler appeal an event?

Yes. A Coopler can ask Coople to review a cancellation or no-show when they believe it is incorrect or a genuine emergency affected them.

Coople may contact your company to confirm what happened—for example, if the Coopler says the company asked them to cancel. If the appeal is approved, the event’s effect on reliability and badge is reversed.

Can I see a Coopler’s appeal evidence?

No. Medical information, supporting documents, and the details of an appeal are private. You see the Coopler’s current badge and reliability information, not their case history.

Why might a badge or reliability change?

A Coopler’s standing can change when:

  • A completed shift, cancellation, or no-show is added

  • Older activity moves out of the 30-event calculation

  • Coople adjusts a completed shift after reviewing reported lateness

  • An appeal is approved and an event’s effect is removed

Should I only schedule Cooplers with badges?

No. Use the badge as one additional signal, not as an automatic filter. A Coopler without a badge may be new or still building a record, while a badged Coopler may not necessarily be the best match for every role.
