When Cooplers finish their shift, they can send their working hours manually within 6 hours from the end of their shift. If they forget to send them, we will report them automatically for them.

You will receive a notification to review their working hours from the web platform or the Coople for Business App. You can Approve their reported times, make adjustments to the Start, End time and break, or report that the worker didn’t show up.

We will only process payment for Cooplers after you approve their hours. If you do not confirm their working hours within 6 hours of the shift finishing time, we will approve them automatically so that the Coopler can get paid"

You can also set up a QR code system to automatically register and approve the check in and check out times of Cooplers.

Reviewing hours from the Coople Web Platform

The Review hours menu

You will see all the hours you need to review and approve across all your active jobs

  1. Click on Jobs > Active

2. Select the job you want to review

3. Go to All workers to check the status of your shifts. If there are any hours to review or approve you can do so from here

4. You can also go to Review hours to view only the working hours you need to review.

Approving hours shift by shift

From any of these three places, you will see a list of Cooplers who you have hired on the left-hand side of the screen. You will see a Review hours message within each shift.

  1. Click on the tick-box

  2. Then click on the Review button

  3. Review the Start and End time, as well as the break duration

  4. Click on Approve shifts to finish

Approving hours in bulk

If you know all workers have met their working hours as planned, you can save time approving all their hours in bulk. You can only do this from an Active job, not from the Review hours menu.

  1. Click on Jobs > Active

  2. Select the job you want to review

  3. Click on Review hours

  4. You will see a list of workers on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on the tick-boxes within All shifts to select all their working hours.

  5. Click on Approve hours on the bottom left of the screen

Editing the reported hours

Cooplers know they need to report their hours accurately. If for some reason, the hours that a Coopler sends are different from the actual worked hours, you can edit them before you approve them:

  1. Click on the tick-box within the shift you want to review

  2. Then click on the Review button

  3. Click Edit shift

  4. Adjust the date and the hours. This is useful if you agreed with the worker an earlier start date or time. Also if the worker had to leave early but reported their full planned hours.

  5. Click on Approve

We will send any reduction in hours to the worker so they have the opportunity to dispute them.

Reporting an absence

If a Coopler doesn’t come to work but sends their hours you can Report their absence. Follow the next steps:

  1. Click on the Review button of the shift you want to edit

  2. Click Edit shift

  3. Select The worker didn’t shop up?

  4. Select a Reason for absence from the drop-down menu

  5. Then click on Report absence

We will delete the worker from the shift and they won’t receive payment.


  1. You can also approve shifts one by one. Tap on the tick-box in each shift box, then tap on the Review button. This is useful if you want to review the reported hours against the planned hours before you approve them. You can Edit a shift or report that the Worker didn’t show up from this screen

Note that if a Coopler has to send their hours you will see a status inside the shift box that says Hours pending. When the worker has not sent their hours six hours after the shift finished, we will submit them automatically. You will see them as Unreported on the shift box.

Status of Working hours

When you open an active job, you can see one of these statuses on every shift:

  • Hours pending: the worker needs to send their worked hours. If they don’t do so within the 6 hours after the end of their shift, we will send report them automatically

  • Unreported: this is the status you see when we have reported the hours automatically because the Coopler forgot or wasn’t able to do so

  • Review hours: the worker has sent their hours and you need to review them

  • Approved: this is the status you see after you have approved the working hours

Rating Cooplers

After the worker's last shift in the job, you will be asked to give them a rating out of four stars:

One star- very poor

Two star- below average

Three star- good

Four star- amazing

Please make sure you complete this step. It rewards good work and helps great Cooplers find more jobs in the future.
