How can I add a Purchase Order Number (PO number)?

Add a purchase order number when you create a job to track your invoices.

Every time you create a job via the Coople Web Platform or Coople for Business app, you can add a Purchase Order Number to your shifts. These will later appear on your invoices.

How to add a Purchase Order number via the Coople web platform

  1. Create a job and fill in all the details.

  2. Go to the section Shifts and click on Add PO number.

  3. Edit the Purchase Order number for each shift.

To add the same PO number to multiple shifts, you can click on “Edit multiple shifts” and select the time frame of your desired shifts.

That’s it! If you want to remove the PO number, click on Hide PO number.

How to add a Purchase Order number via the Coople for Business app

  1. Create a job and fill in all the details.

  2. Toggle on the option Add a PO number.

  3. Edit the Purchase Order number.

The first PO number that you add to a shift will be used as a pre-filled default for all following shifts. You can always edit these if you would like to use several different PO numbers for your shifts. If you do this, the last used PO number will be applied as a default for all following shifts.

When you create a copy of a job via the app and then add your shifts, these will automatically use the PO number assigned to the shifts of the job you copied.


Why it’s a good idea to add a PO number

Adding a PO number helps you track all the expenses associated with this particular job, including the invoices for the number of Cooplers you hire.

After you add a PO number, we will show it in the invoice for this particular job. This will make your accounting easier in the future, particularly if you are creating many jobs with Coople and want to track all of them in an orderly manner.
