When you're asked to review
Coople prompts you to review a Coopler after their hours have been approved, so you're always rating real, completed work. You'll be prompted:
after their first shift with you,
again as they work more shifts for you (after 5, 10, 20 and 30 shifts, then every 20 after that),
and again if it's been a while (around a month) since your last review of them.
Each prompt is for that Coopler in a specific job role and venue, and it stays for 10 days – if you don't review within that time, the prompt simply disappears. Reviewing is always optional; you can skip it.
Where to review
When you have workers to rate, a Reviews button (star icon) appears in the Planner's top bar, showing how many are waiting. Click it to open the Rate workers panel, which lists the workers awaiting a review – with their job title, venue, the shifts covered, and when the prompt expires.
Giving a review
Open a worker in the list (use the arrow next to their name to expand the options) and set:
Star rating (1–5) – 5 stars means they went above and beyond, 4 stars means they fully met your expectations. A rating of 3 stars or fewer flags room for improvement.
Tags (optional) – quick positive or negative points about their work; pick up to 10. Tags are shared with the worker.
Message for the worker (optional) – a public comment the worker will see. If you give 3 stars or fewer and haven't added a negative tag, a short message is required, so the worker understands the rating.
Private note (optional) – only you and Coople can see this; the worker never does.
Favourite or block (optional) – mark the Coopler as a favourite so they're easy to rehire, or block them if they didn't meet your expectations. A blocked Coopler can no longer apply to your future shifts.
Then send the review.
Reviewing internal workers
You can review your own internal workers in the same way. The difference is that an internal worker's rating stays between your organisation and the worker – it's visible only within your organisation and has no effect on their external rating (the one other companies see).
Good to know
The star rating is a single overall score from 1 to 5 – there are no half-stars.
Each Coopler sees their average rating across all the companies that have reviewed them, plus how many reviews they've received. Your tags and public message are visible to them; your private note is not.
Reviews are tied to a Coopler in a specific job role and venue, so the same person can be reviewed separately for different roles.
