Planning internal workers

Schedule your own team on Coople – assign a shift to a specific person (directly, no acceptance needed) or advertise it to your internal pool. Cancelling an internal worker has no notice period.

Scheduling a specific person

Add the internal worker to a job role in the Planner so they appear on their own row, then create a shift on the day you need them. For internal workers, you choose how the shift goes out:

  • Send offer – the shift goes out as an offer, exactly like it would to any Coopler: the worker accepts or declines it in the Coople app, and it's only confirmed once they accept. If they decline, you can offer it to someone else.

  • Schedule shift – the worker is placed on the shift directly, with no acceptance needed; it appears in their calendar once you publish.

The Schedule shift option is available only for your internal workers.

Advertising a shift to your internal pool

To let any of your internal workers pick up a shift, create an open shift on the job role and, under Who can apply, select your internal pool. Only workers in that pool see the shift and can apply to it.

Removing an internal worker from a shift

Plans change – and with internal workers there's no notice period. You can unschedule them from any shift, future or past, with no cancellation request (unlike external Cooplers, who do need one). Open the shift, use the three-dot menu and choose Unschedule – the shift is marked as deleted as a pending change. Once you publish, it disappears from the Planner and the worker is notified.
