What is Payrolling and why use it?

Payrolling lets you bring on workers you've found yourself – Coople handles their payroll, contracts, and compliance for you, and you hire them at a reduced rate per hour.

What Payrolling is

Payrolling workers are people you've found and recommended yourself – not sourced through Coople's marketplace. Once they're in your Payrolling pool, Coople becomes their employer of record: we handle their payroll, contracts, hours, and compliance, so you don't have to run this yourself.

Why use it

  • A reduced hourly rate – since you found the worker yourself, you hire them at a lower rate per hour than standard temp staffing.

  • Coople handles the admin – payroll, contracts, compliance, and hours all run through Coople, just like for any other worker on the platform.

  • Get in touch with Coople if you'd like to know your specific Payrolling rate.

How it fits with your other workers

Payrolling sits alongside your Cooplers and internal workers as its own pool and worker type. Inviting, scheduling, and cancelling Payrolling workers works the same way as for Cooplers.

  • Only Coople can add someone to your Payrolling pool directly, or set and adjust your Payrolling rate – reach out if you have questions about either.
