Why did my reliability or badge change?

Learn what affects your reliability, why your score or badge can change, and how completed shifts and appeals can improve your standing.

What changes your reliability?

Your reliability reflects your recent shift events:

  • Completed shifts strengthen your standing.

  • Early cancellations over 60 hours have a small cost.

  • Later cancellations under 24 hours have a larger cost.

  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before a shift are severe events.

  • No-shows have the strongest negative effect.

  • Reported lateness or other issue can also affect your reliability.

Older events are replaced as you complete or cancel newer shifts, so your reliability can recover through consistent attendance.

Why did my reliability decrease?

Your reliability may decrease after:

  • An early or late cancellation

  • A no-show

  • Lateness reported for a shift

  • A worker-side absence reported by the company or Coople

  • A rejected appeal

Open your reliability history to see the event and its effect.

Why did my reliability increase?

Your standing can improve when:

  • You complete scheduled shifts.

  • Older cancellation or no-show events leave the recent calculation window.

  • An appeal is approved and the affected event is removed from the calculation.

Why did I lose my badge?

A badge can be lost when:

  • Your reliability falls below the level required for that badge.

  • A late cancellation or no-show triggers an immediate badge consequence.

  • A previously protected event is applied after an appeal is not submitted or is rejected.

  • An incident like lateness or alcohol consumption was reported and confirmed.

Losing a badge is not always the same as losing shift access. Early cancellations can cause badge loss through a lower reliability score. Outside Recovery Mode, an early cancellation on its own does not cause Recovery Mode or suspension. If you are already in Recovery Mode, any cancellation - including an early one - leads to a one-month suspension.

Why did I receive a badge?

Badges recognise a combination of completed-shift experience and current reliability. The app shows your progress toward Committed, Pro, or Top Coopler.

A badge is awarded once you meet all of its requirements. It can change again if your recent reliability changes.

Why has an event not affected my standing yet?

Some updates depend on the shift end time, hours reporting, a temporary protection period, or an appeal review. Check the event status in the app.

What can companies see?

Once client visibility launches during November 2026, companies can see your badge and other signals about your standing. These help them make scheduling decisions. A badge reflects your recent record but does not guarantee future work.
