You can set up a QR code system to automatically register and approve the check in and check out times of your Cooplers.
With this system, you can print or display a QR code on a digital device. Cooplers will have to scan it when they arrive and when they leave work. We will register their working times automatically and approve them.
Another option is to ask Cooplers to show you a QR code on their Coople Job App when they start and finish their shift.
This option can save you a lot of time reviewing hours. It will also help avoid mistakes that can result in disagreements over the worked time.
If you would like to use this method to register and approve working times, please talk to your account manager.
Getting a QR code
You can only get a QR code from the Coople Web Platform
Go to Jobs.
Click on Check in/out code.
Save the code and print it or display it on a digital device.
Be prepared to ask Cooplers to scan their QR code at the start or end of their shift. If they forget to report their hours with a QR code, we will report them automatically for them six hours after the end of their shift.
You will have to review and approve their hours manually.
Scanning a QR code
You can only scan a QR code from the Coople for Business App
Tap on Dashboard.
Tap on the QR code icon.
This will open a QR code scanner.
Be prepared to ask Cooplers to show their QR code at the start or end of their shift. If they forget to report their hours with a QR code, we will report them automatically for them six hours after the end of their shift.
Monitoring working times with a QR code
Even though you don’t need to review and approve working hours when Cooplers use a QR code to report them, you can still view their check in and check out times.
Open an active job that has started.
See the check in time of workers who have used the QR code at the start of their shift.
See the check out time off workers who have used the QR code at the end of their shift.
Other statuses for working hours that you can see are:
Hours pending: the worker needs to send their worked hours. If they don’t do so within the 6 hours after the end of their shift, we will send report them automatically.
Unreported: this is the status you see when we have reported the hours automatically because the Coopler forgot or wasn’t able to do so.
Review hours: the worker has sent their hours manually and you need to review them.
Approved: this is the status you see after you have approved the working hours.
Rating Cooplers
After the worker's last shift in the job, you will be asked to give them a rating out of four stars:
One star- very poor
Two star- below average
Three star- good
Four star- amazing
Please make sure you complete this step. It rewards good work and helps great Cooplers find more jobs in the future.
