When do I get feedback on open applications?

You’ll get a notification when a company hires you or declines your application.

Companies are responsible for hiring Cooplers for a job. If you’re waiting for feedback on an open application, please consider that some hiring managers:

  • Post weeks before the job starts. This means you might apply early but have to wait for feedback for some weeks.

  • Only hire hours before the job starts. This means you might receive last-minute feedback on your application.

  • Don’t reject applicants until the job has started. Hiring managers do this to get an urgent replacement if a Coopler can’t make it to the job. This means you might be hired or declined even after the job starts.

  • Don’t reject applicants after hitting their coverage target. Hiring managers do this to get an urgent replacement if a Coopler can't make it to a job. This means you might be waiting for feedback even after the job is covered

  • Don’t close the job when they no longer need people. Hiring managers may have forgotten to close the job. This means you might be waiting for feedback even though workers are not needed anymore.

Can Coople speed up the hiring process?

Only companies can hire or decline Cooplers. However, we always encourage them to do so early, and at least 24h before the job starts. When companies have enough applicants, we send them a hiring reminder email explaining that hiring quickly is the best way to secure top talent!

How will I receive feedback on open applications?

  • If you’re hired, we’ll send you an in-app notification and email to notify you.

  • If your application is not successful, you’ll get an email from us so you can apply for new jobs.

  • You can also check the status of your applications in your Coople Jobs App:

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap on Jobs

  3. View your jobs: Applied, Hired, Completed

Please note that it’s likely that you’ll only get feedback on your application soon before the job starts.

Remember that at that moment, you’ll enter a binding commitment to work. If you’re not sure you can make it to the job or you simply can’t wait any longer for feedback, we recommend you withdraw your application to avoid getting strikes on your account.
