What do I need to confirm before hiring my first Coopler?

Confirm your payment method and a few organisation details before scheduling a worker for the first time. Before you can schedule a worker for the first time, Coople asks you to confirm a few details about your organisation.

Confirming your payment method

The first time you try to schedule a worker, you'll be asked to confirm your payment method. You'll see:

  • Your organisation details (from the commercial registry) – legal entity name, legal address, and company UID. These are read-only.

  • Your collective labour agreement (GAV) – shown if one is on file for your organisation. If it says "Not on file" and you think one should apply, use the Contact us link and Coople will update it for you.

  • Invoice address – uses your legal address by default; you can set a different one for this workspace if you need to.

  • Primary invoice email and, optionally, extra recipients who should get a copy of every invoice.

Once confirmed, you're invoiced the day after the shift ends, with 10 calendar days to pay by e-bill or bank transfer – no card needs to be on file.

What to know before you schedule someone

Right after confirming payment, you'll see a short reminder of two things:

  • Termination policy – once you schedule a Coopler, you're contractually bound to pay for their work unless you request a termination in time. See Cancelling a shift.

  • Coople is the legal employer until takeover – you can take a worker over directly for a fee, or hire them at a reduced rate once they've worked 540 hours through the platform.

Good to know

  • Your account starts with limited hiring while Coople verifies your details in the background – you can typically schedule a small number of shifts straight away.

  • If hiring is paused while your account is still being verified, you'll see a message in the app; for urgent shifts, reach out to Coople via chat and your details will be reviewed on the next business day.

  • None of this applies to your own internal workers – confirming your payment method and the notes above are only relevant when scheduling external Cooplers or payrolled workers.
