If you are on Coople Classic, you can find relevant mobile articles here.

You can review and hire applicants on the go from the Coople Business app, not just on the web. This article covers the mobile screens and actions. For what a matching score means, applicant statuses, and how ranking works, see Reviewing and hiring applicants.

Where to find your applicants

You can open an applicant list in two ways:

  • From the planner detail screen, tap Review.

  • From a specific shift, open it and tap into its applicants list.

  • You'll see the applicants for this specific shift

What you see for each applicant

  • Name and photo

  • Rating – their star rating, or "No reviews" if they don't have one yet

  • Wage – the hourly rate for the shift(s) they applied for

  • Shifts applied for – how many of the open shifts they applied to

  • Pool badges – if they're in one of your pools, e.g. favourites

  • Matching score – a colour-coded score showing how well they fit the role

Reviewing a profile

Tap an applicant to open their profile. From there, use the three dot menu in the top right corner to:

  • View CV (if they've uploaded one)

  • Add a Note (only visible to you and Coople)

  • Mark as favourite or remove them from your favourites

  • Block or unblock the worker

Shortlisting

Tap the bookmark icon on their profile to shortlist a standout applicant, or tap it again to remove them from your shortlist. Unlike on the old platform, shortlisting is fully supported in the Coople Business app, not just on the web.

Hiring (scheduling) an applicant

  1. Open the applicant's profile and tap Schedule.

  2. Select which of the shift(s) they applied for you want to hire them into – you can select one or several.

  3. Confirm to schedule them.

Declining an applicant

Open the applicant's profile and tap Decline. Confirm in the dialog that appears – declining can't be undone, and the Coopler is informed automatically.
