What are recommended wages?

Companies can use the recommended wage as a guide for how much to pay per hour.

The recommendations vary depending on the industry and the level of experience. Generally, a higher wage is recommended for a person with more experience. However, how much you want to pay is up to you, provided the hourly wage is above the minimum wage.

Minimum wages are defined by the generally binding Collective Employment Contracts (CEC). The minimum wage regulations in the CECs are usually based on the level of education or experience, industries and sometimes also region. The minimum wages must be strictly adhered to, otherwise it is not possible to publish the job assignment.

For urgent short-noticed assignments, we recommend that you offer a slightly higher hourly wage in order to make the assignment more attractive for the Cooplers.
