General information

Many of you are entitled to free training! As a Coopler, you benefit from the “CBA Staff Leasing (P-GAV)” collective bargaining agreement. This agreement outlines all the framework conditions for fair and legally compliant employment.

What many temporary workers don’t know: if you have worked at least 88 hours via Coople in the past 12 months, you are one of the lucky ones who are entitled to a minimum of CHF 500 and up to CHF 5’000 for training and potentially up to CHF 2’250 for loss of earnings! Once you have worked 88 hours, you will be entitled to an allowance of CHF 500. For every hour worked after that, your allowance will increase by CHF 5.68, up to a maximum of CHF 5’000 (over 12 months).

Have you noticed that in addition to your social security contributions, 0.4% (previously 0.7%) is deducted for the “GAV” (CLA) on your Coople payslip? Among other things, these contributions are paid into the temptraining further training fund. If you would like to attend a training course soon, regardless of whether you are interested in languages, occupational safety, computing, or specific professional training, it is worth checking your bursary eligibility.

Conditions

The amount of money you can receive depends on the number of temporary hours you have worked in the last 12 months. To be eligible, you must meet the following conditions:

  • The further education must have started within the last 12 months or will start within the next 12 months (from the date of application).

  • You fall under the staff leasing collective bargaining agreement and you have worked at least 88 hours within the past 12 months. (That corresponds to approximately two weeks of full-time workload. If you work as a temp on different platforms that are subject to the staff leasing collective bargaining agreement, you can add these work hours together.)

  • Further education keeps you in good shape for the labour market or contributes to your professional development.
Courses for professional reorientation are therefore also supported. The course selected must be held in Switzerland and must be recognised by temptraining. You can find all eligible courses in the temptraining web portal.

  • You have received less than CHF 5'000 in temptraining allowance in the last 12 months.

  • You must first finance the further education yourself. You will only receive the money from temptraining after you have completed the course.

Registration process (temptraining web portal)

How to register with temptraining

  1. Open the Coople Jobs app and go to your Account.

  2. Click on Benefits, then temptraining.

  3. Click on the button Register with temptraining.

  4. You will be taken to the temptraining website where you need to follow the indicated steps to register.

  5. To register, you will need to fill in all of your personal information (including your AHV number), verify your email address, and verify your identity by completing an ID check. These steps are mandatory to use temptraining and connect your Coople account.

Connecting your Coople account with temptraining

Previously, you had to manually upload your payslips in your temptraining account each month to show proof of your worked hours. You can now connect your Coople account with temptraining to automatically sync your hours so you no longer have to upload them manually.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Open the Coople Jobs app and go to your Account.

  2. Click on Benefits, then temptraining.

  3. If you haven’t registered with temptraining yet, please do so now via the steps outlined above. If you have already registered with temptraining, you’ll find a button at the bottom of the screen titled Link your account. Click on the button.

  4. By doing this, you give your consent for us to share your worked hours with temptraining every month. When you first link your Coople account with temptraining, your hours from the last 12 months will be synced.

  5. You now no longer need to upload your payslips manually in your temptraining account.

  6. To view your number of hours worked and your current allowance amount, go back to the temptraining web portal. Your hours for the previous month will be visible in your web portal on the 15th of each month (Example: If you worked 60 hours in April, the hours would show in the web portal on May 15th).

Linking your accounts is optional. If you choose not to use this option, you will still need to upload your payslips in your temptraining account manually.
